On December 02, 2021, The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) within the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) amended its October 25, 2021, Amended Order, titled, "Requirement for Proof of Negative COVID-19 Test or Recovery from COVID-19 for All Air Passengers Arriving in the United States."
This amendment updates COVID-19 testing requirements for air passengers 2 years or older boarding a flight to the United States.
This Amended Order is effective for flights departing to the US from a foreign country at or after 12:01 am EST (5:01 am GMT) on December 6, 2021. The Amended Order will be published in the Federal Register soon.
you will need to get a COVID-19 viral test (regardless of vaccination status or citizenship) no more than 1 day before you travel by air into the United States. You must show your negative result to the airline before you board your flight.
