EGYPTAIR has opened the first of four new lounges at its new terminal at Cairo International Airport.
The four lounges are created in Star Alliance design and operated by EGYPTAIR as a single lounge. All of the airline’s international traffic plus the operations of the other Star Alliance carriers in Cairo – Austrian, BMI, Lufthansa, Singapore, SWISS, Turkish and future member Aegean - operate from Terminal 3.
The 376 sq. m. lounge seats 96 people - 46 in the business section and 50 in first class.
The other three lounges will be opened over the next few months. The lounges carry star names – the first one is named Gienah after a star in the Cygnus constellation.
